SnipCheck is a code-analysis tool. This page explains what happens to the code you submit and the limited data we handle.

What we collect

When you click Analyze, the code snippet you paste is sent to our server and forwarded to Google's Gemini API to produce the review. We do not require an account and we do not ask for personal information.

What we store

We do not persist your code snippets in a database. Snippets exist only for the lifetime of a single request. Standard, transient server logs may briefly record request metadata (such as IP address and timestamp) for security and rate limiting.

Third parties

Code you submit is processed by Google's Gemini API and is subject to Google's terms. Do not paste secrets, credentials, or sensitive personal data.

Rate limiting

We apply per-IP rate limiting to protect the service from abuse. Your IP address is used only for this purpose and is not sold or shared.
